Just put some new wheels & tires on the Bronco everything but one thing was perfect due to planning. The one item I didn't consider let alone plan for was the spare/backup camera.

Wheels (20x9 w/-12 offset)
Tires 35/12.50/20

Problem I am encountering is the backup camera does not protrude enough to get a good image since the wheel has a center cap that is about 1â…ť" higher than the center of the wheel. If I didn't want the center cap on the wheel then I would have no problem, but I want the look I want...

Looking for a solution that can keep the center cap on the wheel and the camera being fully functional and not mounted to the center cap. I can modify the cap for the camera neck to stick through. Maybe an old Jeep fix can adapt to the Bronco?

Just seeing if someone else has encountered this issue and had come up with a slick fix.

I have the same issue with a zero offset wheel, maybe not as extreme, but would like a fix for it.

I am curious .. do you have a badlands with SAS? Non SAS vehicles have a shorter camera extension.

After a few weeks of searching the net for solutions. I have decide to attempt relocate the factory camera from the factory goose neck to my after market wheel cap with a weather-proof connector.

My thought is the after market center cap twists off and then I can unplug the weather-proof connector when needing to get the spare off. Center cap would then just be swapped out and be a permanent cap for the spare. Looks like the camera will be pushed out 1â…ś" from factory position. I will provide an update once completed when I have time in the coming weeks.

How did this work out? I'm considering relocating my backup camera as well. There are some extension cables available for Jeeps, but I have not found one for Broncos yet. I'm sure they will hit the market at some point.

I'm gonna say no. I have 37" tires with 00 offset wheels mounted to a non-Squatch BL and have no issues with the back-up camera visibility. I would be curious to see a pic of the OP's display with the backup camera on to see how much interference he is getting from his set-up.
