100% suggest the MRT Elite. I don’t think the Steeda is worth its weight in steel at the junk yard compared.

MBRP Touring 3” Stainless catback. S5245304.

IMO, perfect sound, build quality is also excellent.

I pulled the trigger on the non touring since they just dropped the price. Out the door for $608. Couldn't beat it.

Well I finally finished disabling the ESE (engine sound enhancement) along with my Steeda muffler install on my 4dr Badlands. Last weekend, I drove it from San Jose to LA (Calif), about 400miles each way, on I5 at various speeds (~15mph to ~90mph ... crazy traffic) and the sound level wasn't too bad. It does get loud if I lug the engine at low RPMs, but that is to be expected. Wind and tire noise are all at similar levels to that of the muffler/engine sound. The drive wasn't too bad, but I am still considering adding a resonator to further quiet the sound.

How easy was it to disengage the engine sound enhancement? Did you override the software or just unplug a mic?

How bad is the drone? I'm between this and MBRP pro.
Short drives; it was fun, the pops and burbles were cool.
Long Drives: Ever hear a civic with a full exhaust and wonder what its like.

I bought a oem muffler, did the trick

I used Forscan (free 2month trial subscription), an OBDLink EX OBD adaptor (Amazon, usb corded), and a laptop. Really wasn't very hard. I included some info on another thread in Bronco6g.
