Question about the Bronco Grumper

Hi everyone -- this is my first post on this forum, so please go easy on me

I'm the proud owner of a BaseSquatch looking to upgrade my bumper and happened to stumble on the Grumper by Fab Fours.

Has anyone here purchased and/or installed the Fab Fours Grumper for the Bronco ? I've been looking online for any kind of video or written review, and I cant find ANYTHING other than promotional material put out by the company? I'm a little worried that nobody seems to be engaging with this thing.

How do you like it so far? Did you get installed by a shop or do it on your own? How long did the install take?

Disclaimer: I understand that 90% of people in the community hate how this thing looks and what it represents. You're entitled to your opinion and I'll even say that I can certainly see where you're coming from if you feel this way. But for the sake of keeping the conversation concise, please refrain from unnecessary comments expressing your distaste.

If there's an 'aggressive' bumper that you like more, feel free to recommend that one instead!

First, the looks. Yeah, I'm negative on that. My take is it looks like an over-accessorized Wrangler and (I'm being brutal here) a mallcrawler. The guy at my accessory installation shop said, "90% of what I put on never goes off road." Consider also the weight. We Bronco nuts tend to keep adding...$tuff.

So thanks for letting me get that off my chest. Now, a serious question: What are your driving goals, style, destinations? Think it through. That's a lot more steel than you need for serious off-roading. I got the FabFour Matrix bumper and am very happy with it. It's less conspicuous, but I get passing compliments on it, and it handles a Warn10 winch just fine. I miscommunicated with my installer, and somehow the bullbar wasn't included. So talk with a couple of accessory shops, ask to talk with the actual installer(s), ask questions, and tell them what you plan to do with your Bronco. There are a lot of bumper options out there.

Lastly, understand that one thing leads to another (e.g. trail lights) and this hobby gets awfully expensive awfully fast. Further, you might find you like unpaved-road riding a lot, then think about more challenging roads, and finally seriously technical trails and cross-country treking. My point is, plan for what you expect to do, plus more. Meaning...more money. Here's the handsome-enough-for-me Matrix:

PS to all winch owners: Unspool it on a slope before you take it out and dry-run it up some kind of slope. I found that my Warn winch synthetic cable was attached to the spool by only--a hook! And it fell right out of the bumper! Being a hidden winch, it was a a chore to get it re-attached to the cylinder. My installer replaced the hook with a serious bolt and large washer to make sure it stays connected.

Save yourself some cash and just get a giant set of Truck Nutz, you'll get the same look, and have enough money left to get a fart can.

My sympathies, DeepChuckle, that your first post got trolled so harshly.
The internet is loaded with images, do some image research, and make your decision. Just accept (like you have a choice?) that a lot of the guys on these forums are cultists fanatics serious nuts enthusiasts. An awful lot of them seem to have some seriously deep pockets and/or serious mechanical skillsets. So that's the crowd you're in. In other words, purists.
I'm going to get personal--apologies if I offend. Consider what and where you're going to drive your Bronco, and consider quiet dignity over exotic looks. You won't lack for admiration.
