Question about gears/upgrading my tires.

My base bronco with a 2.7 should be getting here in around a month. I wanted to upgrade the tires from 30 inches to 33. I was just wondering If I need to upgrade the rear axle ratio or anything? I was reading into it a little bit and saw a lot of mixed things so I was just looking for some advice.

All Bronco's have front and rear gears. so if you update the rear, you have to do the front as well.

You shouldn't need to change gears for performance. the V6 or the 4cylinder should have no problem with 33rds and the base gearing.

I ordered my BB with 4.27 for that purpose of tire size

OP did you get the 3.73 gears , changing the gears out after the fact will get pricy

like Mike says you should have no problems with 33's

The Bronco version of the 2.7 EcoBoost motor has a power curve that has it over 300ftlbs of torque at 1500 rpm and goes up from there.

60mph in 10th gear with 30" tires your rpm is 1604.2
60mph in 10th gear with 33" tires your rpm is 1572.3
