WOW! The new one is gorgeous, but available anywhere. That '66 is priceless and deserves better. Get it inside ASAP and start preserving. I'll bet that 170 six-hole under the hood will start with a battery and some starting fluid. Anvil tough. Or sell it to someone who can restore it. Outstanding heritage.
Selling isnt an option. She will be brought back to life.

How much do you think it will cost to restore? About the price of a new Bronco?

How far do you want to take the resto? Do you want old school restored or the resto mod way?
I too have an EB that has a lot of family history. It sat inside for 25 years. My goal was bring it back to original condition. I started picking at it in 2001. It’s like remodeling an old house. Fun, then gut wrenching, but always more $$$ than you bargained for. We have taken this truck completely apart and are almost done. If you don’t have the time or skill to do the work professional work is expensive. I can’t do sheet metal/ body work/ painting. That was near 50k alone. I’ll be well north of 80k when it’s done. Be glad to discuss my experience with you when you’re ready. Lots of “learning experiences “ I can share so you don’t have to!

Thats so cool !! With growing family and the need for a bigger house in a better neighborhood, back then I found myself putting priority's ahead of my wants, had to sell my 73 & 69 to get the house, wish I had them again.

My new Heritage and our 66. My grandfather purchased the 66 in the later part of 1965 from a Ford dealership that doesn’t exist anymore in our hometown. It has been with us ever since. It’s what I learned to drive in. There are plans to bring her back to life.
