PPF Stickers found underneath rear cab?

I found these clear tape stickers on the rear edges of my 2 door bronco underneath the cab. I had just taken it off for the first time. Anyone else have these? They were partially pulled up and dirty so I removed them. Is that a frequent scratch point?
Sorry didn't get a close up picture of it when on. Circled the area in the attached picture where it was placed.

Hmm, I didn’t notice them when I lifted my top when I installed my TrailRax rack but just took a look and yes, I have them. I put the same thing on the corners of my Silverado box when I put a cap on it. These pics show them on my BL.

I have them on my soft top 4 door OBX. Someone said the top tends to scratch back there. I dunno.

Yes I have them on mine and replaced them with a wider covering PPF. You'll want those on there!

Our 2023 2 door has them as well. Agreed with the others, I wouldn't go without them, or another ppf there.

I just buy a sheet of lamin-x and cut what I need. Used it on the door jambs too. Always good to have around the house.

Thanks for the replies.. I will have to deal with that the next time I take the top off which will be next summer

yes, those are standard. they protect the hardtop from scratching the body paint at the corners.

I'm wondering if they scratch just being on there (vibration, contact, etc) or is that a major scratch point when taking the back cap off and on?
