My point was it can be used in a campground that doesn't allow generator use. And technically the solar panels are the generator, the Jackery is a storage device.
How are the solar panels the generator? Can you hook up your fridge to the panels? If you unplug the panels when your battery is at 80%, does the generator no longer work? Does that mean that gas is the generator for a gas generator? I know this is basically a semantics issue, but I have always considered my Ecoflows, Hysolis, and Titan Boost to be generators, since they're generating the power to run my tiny house.

Depends on what the campsite rules say really

If they just have a noise restriction - sure it can be a generator.

But if they say "No Generators", then nope, it's a battery backup
I would imagine that any campsite that says "No Generators" means no gas generators and would have no objection to anybody using a solar-based, noiseless generator, except for owners who think that solar generators are too "woke"!
