Agreed. Wonder if we can get this dropped completely. I'd be willing to prepay for services or buy something that I actually want if they insist on spending $399

I picked up my Bronco from Damerow on Saturday. I arrived without an appointment, which wasn't a problem. Even though they were very busy, I was still in / out in an hour.

• Etching: I didn't make a fuss over the etching, it didn't really matter to me.
• Taxes: You can either pay them yourself, or have them do it. If you want them to do it, make sure the taxes are correct a head of time. They forgot the RTA fee when I was given my OTD quote via email.
• Overall process went smoothly. Bronco had been stored inside along with several others. They gave it a final wash while I did the paperwork. Finance guy (Lars) wasn't pushy on warranties, just explained options, and when I declined, he moved on to the next topic.

Agree 100%, would rather buy some wanted accessory than pay the slimy money grab of VIN etching. Once my date comes closer, hopefully late Jan, I will send an email about no front plate bracket and no etching. If it does happen will just let them know they will definitely not be getting the 5 star corporate review. Based off what I have read online those corporate reviews are very important to them.

Nope... 7/16/20 reservation 1/26/21 order date, Wildtrak, went with soft top hopefully to speed up, hasn't worked yet

Probably too early to expect an October res 2DR Badlands, but similar builds have gotten pulled. All depends on dealer allocation, and my dealer doesn't tell me anything.
