Portable, under hood compressor for one wheel at a time?

What's a good portable compressor that I can hook up to the battery (don't want to carry rechargeable batteries) that will do one tire at a time? I don't want to be laying hoses all over the ground and having to roll them up again for storage.
I'd love a setup that let's me hook up, set a pressure, and walk away and will stop filling and stop the compressor when set pressure is reached.
Everything I'm seeing has a compromise in one area or another.

I have a Husky I plug into my "accessory plug" (cough cigarette lighter) that I've had for several years now. It works, but it's slow, especially when it's below freezing. It has the set-it-and-forget-it. (I also have the MORRFlate TenSix with four hose setup.)

Neither one of those I would leave in the engine compartment; they might melt.

The set-it-and-forget-it on the premium "off road" branded compressors like MORRFlate or whatnot are expensive. Here's MORRFlate's standalone attachment, if you have the right hose coming off the compressor, which is $250:

If you can find a single Viair that moves 2+psi of air and has an auto shutoff, that's probably what you're looking for.
