Plastic fill plug dropped into transfer case

Any help guys I was filling my fluid on the 2025 and the black fill plug of the hose dropped into the transfer case. Unbelievable just my luck. I didn’t notice till after I was done I drained the fluid and found nothing. Should I take it to the dealer or is it something that will dissipate any help greatly appreciated? Why do I feel like an ass

Well, after further review, I looked at the piece that I thought went into the fill plug and it does not fit thank goodness. I bought another one the exact same piece and checked and it has a flange probably just for that purpose so it must’ve popped off and went up underneath the rail or something, but I’ll be damned. I can’t find it. Certainly scared the shit out of me enough on a Saturday. I was going to put the rear performance differential cover on, but I think I’ll drink a few beers instead. I don’t wanna press my luck anymore today.

Flush your rails to see if it will come loose. If it doesn't, no biggie. A plastic piece rattling around the frame rail isn't going to do any damage.
