Plastic Cowl Grille Warping - Replacement

That has to be some sort of acid solution or direct heat application, theres no way thats just cheap plastics. But damn, man. Thats messed up.

Yep just cheap plastics from secondary source. The first time it happened I only had the vehicle a few months and it happened in the cold months as well.

Got the Bronco back today. Sun damaged part. Cowl replaced under warranty. Will just have to bring it back if it happens again and again.........and again.

Maybe an aftermarket vendor could design and produce a cowl made of better material and one that has a rubber interface between the plastic cowl and the windshield.

OR....maybe Ford could do it!

Just be prepared if it happens again second time they most likely aren't gonna warranty it

My '24 Black Diamond came with the warped grille when I purchased it. After around five months, I decided to have it serviced as well as having the grille replaced. The grille was replaced on a Thursday. It began to warp again on the Sunday after replacement. Looks like just cheap flimsy plastic. I wonder if they might create a better quality in the near future?
