Makes sense, I guess I am lucky as I am not really in a rush/need. I just assumed that if someone was ordering a hot item like a Bronco they went into it expecting to wait, but I also assume none of the people who originally ordered like you expected to be at the 600 day mark, and all of us that are ordering now are just automatically going well fuck it let's roll the dice and see what happens. It really is a bummer that so many people who got the original orders in got boned and things have changed so much in that time frame. I mean the wildtrak getting the completely different suspension alone is a huge change and literally the only reason why I went after one. If it didn't have the fox suspension stock I wouldn't ever pay the premium it costs.

Can't go wrong with a TRD PRO 4runner though either, I was torn between the two for a family camp vehicle. The only thing with the 4runner is I'd need to go down the same aftermarket rabbit hole I am already doing with my current truck. A rear locker is going to get someone 95% of the places they want to go.
I'm of the same mind as you. Of the six or so constrained options, five are non-negotiable for me. If I can't have them, then I don't want a Bronco. If that means mine never gets built, so be it.

Ordered a wildtrak in 21 and cancelled in Feb of 22. Originally changed my mind because of the lack of painted hard top. It got delivered and I definitely had some regrets.
Decided to try again, ordered an Outerbanks (twin of my wife’s sport) with all of the sins. Lux, Sas and hard top. Probably won’t get produced but figured we would give it a shot.
Almost bought one off a lot but a surprise 8k adm and I walked. Would rather wait a year or more. Just saying hi again and I’m back lol.

Hello, new member here.
I placed an order through my dealer on Monday. That afternoon he called and said he had completed my order and I should be getting an email from Ford in a few days. To date, I have received nothing.
I see so many seem to have gotten a confirmation or some correspondence within hours.
Should I be concerned or just learn to be patient.
Thanks,
Matt

I had that happen on one of my orders, It seems like usually that means the dealer either didn't use your email on the order, or it had a typo etc. In my case the dealer got my email entered wrong. It seems like there's no fix for this either, I talked to my dealer and it sounded like they could not update the email in the system for the automated Ford emails on order/build progress, and I Chatted with Ford on this as well and the also could not do anything to update it. I'm sure someone can update/fix a bad customer email address, but it seems like no one easily reachable. Normally the emails come pretty quick, almost certainly in a day or two.

Not that I don't trust my dealer, but it would be nice to get updates directly as some dealers/salespeople are not great about passing along info.

If you're dealer has not given you any confirmation I'd check in with them and ask if they can provide you a copy. By now they certainly should have a confirmation response they can pass along. If you have the sales and order code from the order preview/summary Ford can give you an update on their Chat.

Check out video from The "Ford Video Guy" Tim Bartz:

Tim goes over 2023 Ford Bronco ordering information just released about configurations, trims, and options available on Monday, March 27th, 2023 as well as key commodity constraints. This will give you an idea how to order your Ford Bronco if you want it in 2023.
This is the first I have heard of only 10% on Black Diamond orders.

Finally! Found a dealer stock order that is exactly what I would have ordered on Monday. Scheduled for 4/17 build. Got my VIN from the dealer today. Eruption Green Badlands, 2.7L, Sasquatch, MIC.

I waited to order/search till my wife’s Explorer was paid off. I patiently waited thinking that all of the supply issues would be over by now. Good thing I didn’t place a bet on that! Started getting really nervous that I had waited 3 years and could potentially wait another year on an order.

To my surprise I called the dealer over the weekend to start talking about ordering, and they advised me they had a stock order with the same exact options as I wanted to order.
The dealer placed their order in January and it got scheduled for April, so by some divine intervention, I walked right into a scheduled build! Fingers crossed!

I have a Big Bend Bronco Sport which I like a lot so I actually want to wait so I can save for a bigger down in addition to my trade in. Got an order in for 4Dr SAS Mid Hardtop 2.3 Black Diamond in Eruption Green. Only thing I held off on was Mod bumper because I didn’t want to go over 55k 😂 I don’t mind the regular bumper tbh

Already purchased a Bronco, but I had the dealer I contacted in November of '22 contact me to order a Bronco. I figured just for kicks I'll put an order in for my dream Bronco and if I get it cool! If I don't oh well!

Priority code 11!!
This was my fear when I ordered from Florida since there were millions who moved here the last few years but with no new dealerships to handle demand from new residents. So I also put in an order with a high volume dealer in Alabama

agreed! I also live in Florida and didn’t even took the time to order a bronco at any ford dealer. I decided to order it from Indiana where I trust my dealer

I got my order confirmed in the AM when the banks opened with no constraints. Priority 10. I think I got lucky. Idk.

Quick question, I received my order confirmation on Thursday, but Im considering adding the pull out tailgate.

Can I still add this, and if so what is the process?

Also, I created a MyFord account and I don't see my order reservation. I did receive the email order confirmation from Ford.com. Any idea why the website isn't showing it?

AFAIK, you can add/modify up until your build is scheduled for production. You’ll need to talk to your dealer as it’ll affect your price.

Apparently the Ford account only shows online orders, not dealer orders. Some people on here have their reservation show up on there for whatever reason. Mine does not. Once you receive a VIN you can put it in there.

I think also once you’re scheduled you can track the status of your build using an order number. Until you’re scheduled I don’t think there’s a way to check in on what’s happening with your car.

My dealer told me not to worry. once we get scheduled we can make changes to the order Before they start the build. I haven’t quite settled on color so that’s what might change for me. I assume something like the pull out tailgate thing could be added as well.
