Got my order in today and crossing my fingers 🥲

Salesman couldn’t tell what their order allocation was at Covet Ford in Austin but I am going to call back tomorrow and talk to someone else. My fear is they had a tonnnn of orders and I am one of many.

They’re a high volume dealer in Central TX but is it still smart to ask? If they are way over should I cancel my order and go elsewhere?

This was my fear when I ordered from Florida since there were millions who moved here the last few years but with no new dealerships to handle demand from new residents. So I also put in an order with a high volume dealer in Alabama

$798 over MSRP. They started adding a VIP pkg of some kind last year. I didn't have to pay it on my '23 Maverick because I ordered before they started it, but every vehicle now gets it added no matter what. But it is what it is.

If you have an empty inbox there’s no line of communication to let you know your bronco has been built and shipped so theoretically if your dealer can’t reach you then they’ll sell your bronco out from under you. Maybe give it a few days.

Got my order in today for a 4 door Badlands, MIC, 2.3, auto and mid package. Is priority code 19 fine?

Ordered an OuterBanks this morning and the order came in Priority 10. Received the Ford confirmation shortly after.

10 is good but won’t help much in the end, it’s a code for the dealership to prioritize their own customer orders when two are similar. It doesn’t guarantee Ford builds your Bronco any faster or before other similar builds from other dealers.

It simply says to Ford from said dealer to build this customer before this customer. Dealer allocation is a bigger thing to be aware of. If they have more orders than allocations your not getting built no matter what priority you are 10/19.

FWIW - 99 is hold order

I believe dealers get additional special low priority codes to use that get orders pushed to the front of the line. I don’t know much about them but I know they exist in very small quantities. My guess dealer owners uses them for his or her buddies or when shit goes sideways.

The dealers I reached out to ghosted me in socal lol, I reached out for updates even if I didn’t get an order I’d like to know. Hopefully they’re just busy but I doubt it. Oh well, Aug/sept I’ll try again.

So I placed my order today, like everyone else, and have now received both my DORA from the dealer, and the email order confirmation from Ford. I am reading conflicting things about the COVP. The dealer said that they have submitted what they have to, and I'm good, I did provide a copy of my D/L for the order. Am I now waiting for another email about COVP acceptance? Am I good to get in line and wait with everyone?

I also only have the confirmed DORA from the dealer, and have not received an email from Ford confirming the build. Should I be worried?? I'm already unhappy about the Priority Code 19.

Also, like I see from other DORAs on here, the subwoofer on my sound system was deleted and they credited me $250. Apparently the supplies on that are low?
