We all know saying "anxiety with a credit card", buying gear for most obscure scenarios....
95% of trips for me are Fri - Sun, leave Seattle area around noon and come back Sunday afternoon
Solo trips, mostly to Bethel ridge area or around WABDR - no rtt (sleep in car), no fridge (cooler is more than enough for 2-3 days trip), no water filtering/stations (5gal jug more than enough), no heating blankets....(Solid sleeping bag)...
Of course, if one takes week+ trip to Moab, it is a totally different story, but again, for me it will once or twice a year max, weekend runs are majority of trips for now
That is my scenario, others have theirs I am sure
