Ordered a 2026 Raptor today

Hey Bronco6g! I just joined the forum after ordering a Raptor today. Super excited to own my first Bronco. No pics of course. I've been scouring the forum to learn all I can about them. I enjoy hitting mountain trails around Montana and exploring Canada. Looking forward to the Bronco community.

Welcome! I just upgraded to my BRaptor from a 21 Badlands. Though my Badlands was heavily modded, the Braptor was still head and tail above it. You will not be disappointed with the Braptor.

Congrats & welcome @MTMan - waiting is the hardest part! Back in 2020, it was +14 months from reservation to my first Bronco (and that was fast back then).

Thanks everyone. Ordered a marsh gray, leather seats, carbon fiber, block heater and roof/door bags. Was told 4-6 months I’m assuming from January. Received an email from Ford this morning that the order was submitted.

Got on my computer after work tonight and looked at the Ford email again not on my phone and saw this:

I didn't think they even started building the 26 until January or am I missing something?

Factories start the new model around late august for most factories. The one I work at has been on 26 for several weeks. It takes a while to fill the pipeline with new models and get all the old out.

Good to know. I was getting different information from different dealers on this.

I reached out to my salesman to double check on this and he said it looks like that's the date we will know when it's going to be built not the delivery date.

I'm pretty new for all practical purposes to the Ford world and especially the Bronco world. Started my off-road journey years ago with 20th century solid axle Toyotas. Briefly had an 04 F350 6.0 Powerstroke and a 05 Expedition both quite some time ago. Didn't last long due to the problems. In 17, bought a brand new Tacoma but it was in the shop every month for a year and never was right. Sold it starting to get pretty disappointed in Toyota and have basically been keeping older Toyotas around. Then the last few years seeing all the motors seizing in the Tundras realizing Toyota isn't what it used to be and they don't really offer the kind of four wheel drive I'm looking for. Fast forward to the end of last year and picked up my dad's 22 F150. The technology is pretty nice. It's a whole new day at Ford and sadly a whole new day for Toyota. Test drove a Bronco and it put a smile on my face and actually made driving feel fun again. A friend in the local Toyota club bought one too. @BigSkyBronco. Thought I'd take the plunge and order one.

So, been scouring the forums and trying to learn more about them. I didn't like the factory front license plate mount and the salesman said it's not installed when it arrives at the dealer so they said they'd leave it off for me. I found this and like the retro look for a license plate mount:

Depends on the plant and what work they do over shutdown; typically, 1 to 2 weeks.
