Order with Dual Tops

Picked up my Bronco it late August with dual tops. It was built in late July. It came with the Hard Top on and the soft top in the back with the seats down. After carefully getting the soft top out and putting the seats up I noticed a few things had occurred from the weight of the soft top pressing on the folded seats.

1. The stitching from the headrest was imprinted into the leather of the seat.

2. The middle seatbelt was significantly creased.

I reported them to the dealership but there isn’t any solution from their side.

These are mildly annoying me.

Anyone have an outside opinion if I’m overreacting or what to do next?

Take the top panels off and park it in the sun for a few hours. Should resolve both issues.

As others have said, heat will likely resolve that over time. Additionally, the seats material will stretch as they get used, and those minor divots will go away. Leather conditioner won't penetrate through the coating put on the leather, but it's worth a shot. If that works, I doubt it's the conditioner itself, but probably the massaging you do when applying it. For the seatbelt, leave it buckled for a while. The tension combined with sitting in the sun will probably get it right (or once again, usage will help).

This isn't a Ford thing. This is what happens to any stretchable material when enough weight/pressure is applied over a long enough time. Look at body printed mattresses, or well used cushions.
