Hey Everyone!
I’ve been searching around the forums and I can’t find anyone else that has experienced this issue. A few months ago I got in contact with my Ford dealer to check up on my order. Long story short they said there was a glitch in the order books and mine was one of the few that got deleted(I ordered last January). Before the conversions I made sure to contact them to confirm my 2023 order, so I know that’s not how it got deleted, unless they screwed up. I’ve been working with them to take over a cancelled order, but it’s been months and nobody is canceling. They say they have a few people on the fence right now because of the production issues. The reason I’m so annoyed is that I want my price protection or private offer that came with ordering that early. What should I do at this point? Contact Ford? I have a picture of my order paper that they gave to me, as well as the 1,000 deposit. I even decided recently to take the hard top and SAS off so it can get here sometime this year (hopefully).

Contact Ford to see if your order was built. My guess is that your Bronco was built and your dealer sold it out from under you for huge ADM. Now they want to sell another Bronco to you with huge ADM under the guise they are doing you a solid by looking for a "cancelled order" which isn't even a thing.

Did you go to the dealer and update your order last year for 2023? If you didn't, then it may have been deleted. My dealer (LHM Draper) did not contact me to convert to 2023. I only knew to go in person due to this forum.

I went ahead and made sure that my order was converted, and in person back in November. I would be surprised if a base squatch with a hard top got delivered that quickly but I could be wrong. I’ll contact Ford and see if that got built.

Unfortunately your DORA appears to be from a MY22. Do you have any correspondence, records or a DORA for the MY23 re-order that shows a priority code of 10-19? According to the Bronco FAQ you are most likely SOL and it recommended you work with your dealer for placing a new order. If you have some records of a MY23 re-order you may have a fighting chance.

When you go into your my Ford account does it show cancelled? If yes or no I'd still call Ford with the order number to verify.

If it's showing good and verified then go back to dealer and ask wtf? If it's showing cancelled and verified I'd go back to the dealer and ask WTF!

So under reservations it doesn't show anything?

Here's mine, top one is current order, the bottom one I cancelled awhile ago.

Well guys, good news. I went in and talked with the general manager and got something squared away in writing. My biggest concern was losing the price protection or private offer. If a 23 becomes available, I will get $2500 off. There are a few possible orders I can take over, or if something becomes available on its way to the dealer. If it ends up being a 24 I’ll re submit an order and get it for invoice. Got all of this in writing and signed from the manager! So either way I should be able to get a couple thousand off and get something with a similar ETA as my original order. Larry H Miller in Provo UT has actually been a great dealer despite all the issues. Thanks for the responses guys

Are you an old enough customer that you have a reservation? The back-door tracker is by far the most accurate of the trackers, but you need to have had a reservation number.

glad you got it somewhat resolved, but your order sheet is my22, not my23. so its possible that they didn't carry it over to my23, unless they can show you proof it was.

So something similar happened to me, I ordered 10/21 then when I called back 3/22 to make a couple changes my order was gone, I had a completed DORA with my name on it. Since order banks had closed before I called in the dealer wasn't able to re-order. What he did do is give me a reservation they had from an employee who no longer wanted the Bronco and I will have it in about 2 weeks. As for PP he confirmed last week the ONLY way to get it is if the name and address match the original order/res since they didn't Ford didn't have a PP associated with my order. Per Ford and dealer they can't change the original name from the DORA/Res even though they did COVP my name to it for 23'. So I won't be getting my $3080 PP that I should have but he has assured me they will take care of me, I guess we'll see in a week or so!
