Installed the Oracle Cargo light this evening. I wanted this for hunting and getting dressed in the morning in the field. Installing it, I ran into the same issue a lot of people have had and Oracle is aware of it. The fitment kinda sucks. It's fits, but the fit and finish where it meets the bronco trim isnt great, but it works. I called Oracle and they put me on a list to send a fix out as soon as it's available. Initially I was gonna hard wire it, extending the wire, running it with the wiper motor wires and across the top instead of cable tieing it to the defroster wire which I think would end up breaking it off the window. Until I get a fix, I ran it down the window shock and plugged it into the power plug. It works fine this way but doesn't look as finished. Overall it works great, lots of light, but the fitment makes the price kinda hard to swallow.

Yeah hopefully they fix it. It will be a nice product if they get the fit and finish right. Luckily it works great or I would've asked for a refund.

@MudMonsterRacin - Thanks for the review I'm looking for one of these for the same reasons but having trouble justifying cost. The light output certainly seems like it's worth it over fit/finish.

Just curious how far along your hard wiring plan is? I was thinking about doing the same but didnt know where I would tie into. Does that 12V plug have power to it when the bronco is off?

Alt course of action was to mount an LED bar on the roll bar and run it off an aux switch...

It stays on 1 hr after you shut off your bronco I think. so the switch light ring will stay on this long which isnt a huge deal i dont think. I have notched the switch illuminated in the rear view at night also not a huge deal. Im not rewiring it until they put together their fix for the fitment in case they replace it. It is really bright and it does work great for getting dressed to go in in the morning. It has paid for itsellf the few times i used it i think. There are some other options you can try on amazon that look like a light bar that are a lot cheaper.. I wanted this one because i like stuff that look like it could be factory. Thats why i hope Oracle makes good on their promise to fix the fitment.
