So, I had the oils changed in my ‘24 WildTrack last August and IIRC correctly the mileage was about 5,500 miles and the monitor was reset to 100%.
So over the last week or so the Ford Pass app had a reminder that I was nearing service at 10K miles. During that time the oil life percentage was in the mid-50% range.
Just yesterday I broke the 10K mile mark and now when I go into the Ford Pass app, it is not showing a value for oil life.
Curious if this is Ford’s way of getting me in to service.
Technically, based on mileage from my last oil change, I have about 500-1000 miles before I’ll get the oil changed again. The oil life monitor in the vehicle shows 52%.
Just wondering if anyone else has run into this or noticed it.
*** EDIT *** I had noticed it this morning. So I thought maybe it would update the next time I drove it. Earlier today I went out to run an errand. Checked afterwards and it still wasn’t showing the oil life.
I went into the garage to check it on the vehicle, and now when I got back in the house and checked the app, the oil life is visible on the app.
Oh well…. Never mind.
