OEM Hoop Steps for a 4-door.
$250 OBO (Do not let this scare you, I am just optimistic. I do not want these anymore. Make an offer.)
Took the hoops off at 227 miles. Took the rails for the hoops off at 396 miles. Based on mileage alone, these are extremely presentable and currently have the plugs in the rail for where the hoops would go.
As presented in picture.
Prefer a local sale.
Why would you want these?
1. You ordered or bought a Bronco that does NOT have the rock rails.
2. You are short, your siginificant other is short, your children are short, you have pets that are smart enough to use a step but old/short enough to not make it without one. It's alright, I understand. All of those criteria apply to me.
3. You like saving weight on your vehicles. The rails that hold the hoops (and look like faux rock rails if you go without the steps) weigh about five pounds each. It is unfathomable to me how light these are.
4. You do not want real rock rails because you realize you will never really use them but do want hoop steps because you realize they are handy. You also like the idea that you can have any combination of 1-4 of the hoops on or off.
5. You are trying to hide that ugly pinch weld and want something functional.
6. You want more OEM parts where the bolts are labeled with BRONCO.
Why do I not want these?
I want to use the rock rails as rock rails for offroading and was fortunate enough to find someone local to sell me their OEM ones. You know who you are, thank you. To add insult to injury, I will purchase the Archetype Magnum Stirrups (or normal ones). I still want a step, just one I can immediately take off at the trails.
Side note: I blame you Ford. The Bronco I got was ordered with the hoop steps which added $395 to the price AND REMOVED THE PERFECTLY GOOD AND USABLE OEM ROCK RAILS. Why?!? Why not keep the rock rails then add a hoop? Why replace the rail with one that is not meant to support the Bronco? WHY FORD, WHY?
Sorry: I wrote too much, then I ranted.
