The other question I have is: Are the front axles upgraded on the lower trims from M190 to M210 with the sasquatch package? Description doesn't call it out, unless that's assumed with the locking front axle

Sasquatch™ Package
17" black-painted aluminum beadlock-capable
wheels with 35" LT315/70R17 BSW Mud-Terrain tires,
electronic-locking front and rear axles,
4.7 Final Drive Ratio,
high-clearance suspension,
position-sensitive Bilstein™ shock absorbers,
and high-clearance fender flares

For a while I was thinking why would anyone want the WT over the OBX when there's so much more value in the OBX w/ options... then I realized what made it worthwhile value wise was the top w/ 4door (I'm going 2DR so that's all I was considering). I think if you are after the 4DR the WT may be worth it, maybe even on the 2DR if you are hellbent against the MIC top. Of course now I'm finding myself leaning towards the BD trim if I can live without the high pack, but I really wanted cloth seats (I HATE leather in the heat), but I'm not sure what to think of the MGV.

I was originally going with a two door OBX but have decided on a two door wildtrack because I want the modular hardtop & potentially the Lux package, then my husband wants the 2.7 and the sasquatch package.
The big thing for me is the upgraded hardtop. With the expected cost $$$ to upgrade that really helped make up my mind.
It seems to make more sense to us to go up a trim level than add all the options to the OBX. If we didn't want the sasquatch or the bigger engine we'd probably get the OBX.

It really does come down to just the top, you can get an OBX w/ Sas+Lux+2.7 for the base price of the WT with just mid.

I agree with you on the pricing.
Using the pricing tools a while ago I was finding that it was really only about $1000(?) difference, in the large scheme of things thats not a huge difference.
In reality I need fords official #s to make up my mind for good. Some of the options may end up costing more than we currently expect. Currently I'm leaning more on the wildtracks side but we'll see what price and build does to my decision.

I was originally thinking OBX, but with the prelim pricing guesses the WT looked better. After seeing the recent video of the A51 4-door in East TN, I'm liking the look of the marine vinyl seats. I want to see what they feel like as they may sway my decision away from cloth or leather.

Never in my life did I think that I'd say something like that last statement. I lived for 13 yrs with vinyl seats in a CJ7. I swore I would make a good enough living to never go back to that.

If you don’t mind the gray top, you can also get an OBX with gray top and leather for not much more than wildtrak with black top based on survey pricing. Seeing the A51 badlands with the vinyl looked awesome though.

Yea, Sasquatch upgrades the front axle.

This is my exact same situation. As of today I am getting Oxford White and I am leaning towards a white hard top but just need to see it first. I am getting the sasquatch, 2.7, hardtop, aux switches, leather and high package added to my OBX but would just need to grab the leather and high package to the wildtrak. It seems like a stock wildtrak will bring more money later than a supped up OBX that initially cost the same.

Personally I love the grill of the Wildtrak. I am dead set on that painted black grill from the badlands but this could really just come down to which top I prefer. If I go black then the Wildtrak might make the most sense but if I want white it doesn't seem to have the option with the Wildtrak but who knows until B+P is out.

I like the mirror caps as well but that seems easily added either way

Sounds like you and I are in the same boat. By the time you option everything in OBX to wildtrack it will mostly come down to top color preference. I wish wildtrack offered any color we wanted for a top, would be a no brainer to me at that point

I have been playing around with the pricing spreadsheets and came up with this. I don't have the OBX because not my thing.

Lux$ -$ -$ -
xTow Package$ 600$ 600$ 600

If you pick the High Package you do not need to add in the Mid Package. The High includes it in the price.
Same for Lux, you don't need to add Mid and High.

It could also come down to interior colors as well if they are different. Supposedly the OBX is going to have the best but who really knows at this point.

Wildtrax gets you the extra GOAT mode too. Based off the survey prices, it doesn't matter what trim you start with from BB to OBX.....if you want auto, 2.7, modular HT, Sasquatch, and at least mid package you are around $51k plus or minus $1k. Wildtrak is a value packaged OBX, I don't think we can beat it going any other way. AND Ford knows that. Even going BL with Mid and auto/2.7 with out SAS puts you right at WT.

One thing I am keen on that I thought was a mistake but they are producing them from the factory that way is the Black Gloss painted mirrors instead of the body color match. It looks good.

I am struggling between WT and just an OBX with out the SAS and doing my own tires.

It looks to me like Ford took an OBX added a bunch of options and the stripe kit and then knocked off $2500. You just can't beat it if you was SAS added. Have to wait for B&P to know for sure.
And that's where I'm at Josh. I'm torn between the OBX, and the BL. But, until the B/P hits I can't make an educated decision. And, after looking at Michael's "close enough for government work" build sheet it looks like the Wildtrak may be the best value. I'm so confused. :)

So I was planning on ordering the OBX and then optioning squatch, leather, mod roof, high package, 2.7L and mod bumper. Came out to around 55k. But then I started looking at what the Wildtrak costs and the options it has standard. Comes with a lot of the same things. Other than the body color mirror caps, is there any bug difference between my OBX build and a stock Wildtrak?
I think you might aswell get the wildtrack
