Just picked her up today. Dealer ordered ready to paint OBX flares for me. Wasn’t sure if I was going to love the look but pulled the trigger and I LOVE it. Kept the squatch flares and will switch back and forth if I feel the need.

Tires poke out just a tad which i think looks great. Is it ideal for rocks and gravel? Probably not but we shall see.

Also installed Rigid DX-L Pro driving lights and tinted the windows.

Big reason why we feaux-squatched OBX for painted flares. How’s the color match?

It’s great. Brewster Ford Used one of their preferred body shops. I was also debating with paint ready Sasquatch fenders, but no one I have heard of has been able to find them.

Exactly what I want, I have an OBX and am ordering a WT next week. Much prefer the painted flares and wish it was an orderable option. Looks great, enjoy.

For future ref, what was the cost to order the ready to paint flares and did the dealer do it or a paint and body shop?

Thank you. It was expensive. $1180 for the flares. There is a Ford promotion of 15% off till the end of the year on accessories. So that helped to reduce the fenders by a bit.

The the dealer sent it to a body shop they trusted. Cost approximately $808 more for labor and materials. I’m in NY, so I’m sure cost of labor here is higher than In most other states.

All in with discount $1811 + Tax.

So it cost you $1000 for the paintable OBX flares? I didn’t see those on the accessories catalog (just the textured SAS flares) did you order from parts department?
