Non-Beadlock wheels a restriction for build?

I just got a call from my dealer saying the non-beadlock wheels are what's causing a production delay. Anyone else hear similar? I didn't want or need the beadlock capable wheels and now they say if i spend another $2000 I can get the Raptor built sooner. What shall I do? They already jacked the MSRP up 6K, now this.......

I got freaked out by your post and checked with Ford Chat on my production date status since I have base wheels specified on my Raptor. They said I was “In production”!

I checked and my window sticker had already populated with blend date of 10/25.

In any case, the base wheels clearly aren’t an absolute constraint, but may be an issue further out in the scheduling horizon.

Not sure that gives you any better info beyond there are still upcoming builds on base wheels.

This rumor came out months ago, continues to persist. Maybe it was true back in May or June, but now it's just an easy answer for dealers to feed customers when they get tired of having to actually do their job.

Looks like I found some answers - No Raptor build unless upgrades to beadlock wheels. See attached.

I received the same info from my dealer this morning. I'm holding off until I know what price. protection I will get before agreeing to an additional 2K for wheels i don't care about.

I got the same call from my dealer yesterday (Justin Weis - San Tan Ford, Gilbert AZ), through the area rep, stating I could get built faster choosing the forged wheel....looking for volunteers as the base wheel was now a new constraint and unavailable for an unknown period of time. Figures as this was the only thing I would change on the vehicle to aftermarket along with tires. There's just no way I could sell those on the open market for $2k.

Raptor and Bronco have different bolt patterns and are not interchangeable.

I placed an order for a Bronco Raptor on Friday and had to order the optional wheels. Standard wheels were not available.
