No go Auto temp control

This has only happened twice so I’m not terribly worried yet. I’m from Wisconsin and she’s been a little chilly recently. I generally keep auto temp on the low setting. Theres been a couple times after I remote start the bronco that I got in and it’s freezing cold. After starting the vehicle from the inside. I crank up the heat and nothing happens keep in mind that the auto temp is still on the low setting. I’ve tried bumping it up to high and still nothing. I end up turning the fan speed up ( which turns the auto temp off ) and it starts to warm up.
So strange to me. Let me know if any of you have had this issue.

Have you noticed the trucks outside temp sensor reading?? Is it accurate?
