So I'm a younger guy and have rarely dealt with dealerships, so please give me some advice here. I originally reserved my Bronco on day 1 back in July at the closest dealer to me. The salesman was super rude when I reached out to ask some questions and the dealership wanted a huge markup even from the beginning so I said screw them and moved to another dealership. I got the call that they were ready to have me come in and spec it out. I did. It took forever and never actually saw the salesman do anything on his computer, he took all the stuff to another cube. I signed and initialed a print out of the very few options I selected (base, so I only opted to add roof rails and aux switches and nothing else). He then said he needed a $500 deposit. No problemo, paid it and signed a hand written purchase agreement with the MSRP and options and was sent on my way.

I haven't gotten an email from Ford saying my reservation has been converted to an order. My ford account shows nothing besides my reservation details from July. I never got any paperwork about my specific Bronco with options or anything. The salesman is not responding to my emails or calls. Should I be worried? If something is up, do I have any recourse?

I would be.
Call Ford and have them deal with it.
Did you get a receipt for the deposit? Is it refundable? Sounds like you got an asshole dealer

I did get a receipt for the deposit. I made sure to find out it was refundable, although he mentioned if I cancelled and they had already ordered it, they would just sell it on the lot. Dang it, yeah I'll give Ford a call and see what they have to say.

Call Ford (Marketing I think) the number is all over these boards. Tell them how shady your dealer is and you don't trust them.
The biggest issue you will have if you want to change dealers is if you did actually sign an agreement. If so, then you are probably screwed.
Give it a little time, more people will post in here with there opinions. I'm just giving you the cliff notes version.. Got steak on the BBQ I'm watching ;)

Edit: it's that signed purchase agreement you may get stuck with. Like I said, see what the others say first.

Yeah, I'll have to review the agreement a little closer when I get off work to see what the heck is going on. I might also give the dealership GM a call to see if maybe a mistake happened. At the end of they day though that purchase agreement goes both ways. They have to deliver a White 2021 Bronco to me for an agreed upon price. Or so I think...

So I got a follow-up email from the salesman finally. He said he didn't currently have that info, but would send it to me as soon as he got it. Weird that he did it (or at least said he did it) and has zero paperwork. I'll give them the weekend and If I still see nothing on Monday, I'll give the dealership a call and if that leads nowhere I'll reach out to Ford. But going forward, MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR PAPERWORK.

It does sort of go both ways. But right now with what you've said, who knows what is what? Did they actually order it? Doesn't sound like it, which technically means you can switch dealers without issue. But with that purchase agreement they might keep your deposit.

Best bet, call the GM over there. There is absolutely no reason why a salesperson shouldn't return your emails or calls. You're the customer, you shouldn't be left in the dark like that.

I’m an early morning 7/14 reservation holder and finally went in to the dealer this morning to place the order.
They had their computer screen turned towards me and I could see everything they were doing. Gave me a printed invoice of my order and receipt for the down payment. Email from Ford came immediately to my phone as they hit send....I’d be concerned if you haven’t seen or had a confirmation email

I'm going to guess he wrote my options down (3. White, Roof rack, aux switches. Very easy) but hasn't done the order yet. Based on his email, I'm assuming he wasn't working today due to a family emergency" and the order hasn't actually hasn't been inputted properly yet. I did see a copy of the order sheet and initialed it, but for whatever reason now I can't get a copy from the dealership. Their GM will get a call from me on Monday.

I’m the same I ordered on January 20th, I never did get an email and my reservation still says base model even tho I ordered a badlands, I contacted my salesman he said it’s nothing the order is still submitted. I wouldn’t sweat about it, it’s just Ford playing catch up on the orders.

I doubt the email means anything, I’m in the same boat, I have the order build sheet with all my build options from my salesman, with all the codes and order numbers, priority codes, etc.

I didn’t have it either, I went back and got a copy! Do that at least!
I gotta wait for my day off, but I'll call the GM to get that at the very least.
