So I'm a younger guy and have rarely dealt with dealerships, so please give me some advice here. I originally reserved my Bronco on day 1 back in July at the closest dealer to me. The salesman was super rude when I reached out to ask some questions and the dealership wanted a huge markup even from the beginning so I said screw them and moved to another dealership. I got the call that they were ready to have me come in and spec it out. I did. It took forever and never actually saw the salesman do anything on his computer, he took all the stuff to another cube. I signed and initialed a print out of the very few options I selected (base, so I only opted to add roof rails and aux switches and nothing else). He then said he needed a $500 deposit. No problemo, paid it and signed a hand written purchase agreement with the MSRP and options and was sent on my way.
I haven't gotten an email from Ford saying my reservation has been converted to an order. My ford account shows nothing besides my reservation details from July. I never got any paperwork about my specific Bronco with options or anything. The salesman is not responding to my emails or calls. Should I be worried? If something is up, do I have any recourse?
