Lol, while you are not incorrect that the 911 is quite loud, it’s a different loud - ya know? Lots of folks like hearing the exhaust note of a sports car, the ear shattering noise of a rock concert, surround sound blasting their favorite movie - however, not as many folks love the sound of a 747 engine droning in their ear for 9 hours or the lawn equipment in the summer outside..etcFord is going to tune the Bronco for the best possible handling, ride and noise.
I don't see any reason the OP should expect his friend to not enjoy it from the factory. The people that add lifts, bigger/different tires, light bars and other stuff that makes noise for a "Look" are the ones that are going to be disappointed.
The OP has a 911 in his vehicles, take your friend for a ride. If he can handle the cabin noise from that engine he can handle a Bronco.![]()
Hey man - I’m also actively trying to get a day 1 reservation dropThis is silly.
People that like luxury fucking love Wranglers, G Wagons and Land Rovers.
Stop it pretending the Bronco is only for the hardcore enthusiast.
I live in Fairfield County, CT; one of the wealthiest counties in the country and Wranglers are like roaches out here. Every soccer mom in a tennis skirt, equestrian pants and boots and yoga pants owns one and the Whole Foods lot it is full of them.
Bronco will be no different.
oh shit nvm.Hey man - I’m also actively trying to get a day 1 reservation drop![]()
I agree. Lots of people are in this category, I think. But they'll still get it, love it for a year and then trade it in for something that better suits their lifestyle. And that's ok. The road noise is annoying if you've only driven luxury, but you can get used to it too. Also, the JL ride isn't so bad. Hoping the Bronco is even better. My good friend is DEAD SET on getting a $50k bronco. He has never been off road and never road in a newhighway speeds.
This guy loves luxury, luxury furniture, lux speakers, lux food...etc
I have a real feeling that he is going to be shocked at the rough ride (even without a SFA it’s no sedan) and the road noise will eat at him.
I have begged him to test drive a new wrangler with a hard tip simply for noise comparison but he just won’t do it.
he finally admitted to me that he has been too psyched for the bronco for too long and does not want to risk having his mind changed now.
I wonder how many other folks feel this way?
bronco is surely superior, but the downsides of an off-roader will be just as present and I feel lots of folks are going to be shocked
