My work vehicle was up for replacement and I was talking with my fleet manager about a new vehicle. I work in the woods and needed something way more capable than the explorer I have but not as big as the ram 2500 I had before. He said what about a Bronco? I didn’t think he could make it happen but she came in last week. Only 9 months to get this one vs the 1.5 years for my personal lol. 2023 Black Diamond with Sasquatch. I’m super stoked to have one at home and now one at work! If I could just get the keys to it…

Now that is cool, I work for local Govt, I am due a new truck. I tried to get a Bronco..... I haven't gotten anywhere yet. Are they doing state contracts on them, thats how we buy everything. We've been buy Dodges a bunch lately.

We are Federal and use some sort of fleet program that is not GSA. We don’t really get to pick, per say, but I can submit a list of requirements. I’m an LMR technician and have to drive up poorly maintained roads to get to my mountaintop sites. I requested high clearance with locking differentials. Since Jeeps were not available at the time, this was the only option lol. I of course knew that going in.

Looks wrong in white instead of FS Green.

One of the best trucks I ever had was an ex Forrest Service F-250. Stick shift with the 300 CID I-6.
Still Forrest Service Green, though the logos had been removed.
