Hello Bronco Enthusiasts!
I am new to the Bronco6G forum and am happy to say that I just purchased a '24 Badlands 4dr 2.7L. I've had my eye on the new Bronco since Ford made the announcement and haven't been in a position to pull the trigger until now. I've been on a couple of short road trips but haven't been offroad yet. I am very surprised at how responsive the 2.7 is, no problems passing when needed, or going over a mountain pass. Also has a little growl when you push it.
Just registered on the Off-Roadeo website and am looking to book a day early in the year. Will probably go to Moab being that I've been there and I know how much fun it is with lots of territory to explore while there. I'm also looking to join a local offroad group and hope to get dirty soon. As for mods, I'll probably go for an onboard compressor first to make sure I can get on and off the trails without a lot of hoopla, and of course recovery gear. Then comes the long wish list of things...
I have been scrolling the forum for some time now, so no major questions and I don't want to cover ground that's already well worn. I will definitely post a question when I cannot find the answer and am stumped and will help others where I can. Until then, thanks to all of you who post here and share your experience, knowledge and your awesome builds.
Happy New Year and Happy Wheeling!
