New Sync issue for me today

1st for me in this scenario. Have never been on the phone and started it. Was on the phone walking to my Bronco. It wasn’t on. Got in and hit the start. As soon as display lit it ended my call and screen went black. Radio started playing some random radio station. Figure I’d try the reset. Didn’t work. Turned Bronco on/off and it came back up playing last song I was listening to on CarPlay.

Weird stuff happening with apple car play and the phone. Last update?! Again?!

There is supposedly a fix-all for SYNC 4 coming in 4th quarter. Fixed random reboots, lack of response, etc, etc.

I just had an update applied to mine at the dealership, I’d suggest you get the process started in case it’s a hardware failure.

I work at a Ford dealership, Ford released a Special Service Message stating the fix is coming.it should happen.
