Welcome. Glad you love your door and still love it after 35K miles! I still love my 2022 2 door Basesquatch with 2.7 after 2.75 years and 13K miles. And I am fussy and typically change vehicles a lot.

I just had a guy a couple of weeks back pull up next to me and say, "That is the best looking Bronco I've seen around". I nodded and said thanks, before I could say it he belted out........"Because it's a 2DR!!" :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I'm wondering if the flexing when you take the top off and put it back on is causing the cracks. Do you take your MIC off very often?

(Notice that I didn't say" Do you take your top off?")

Ahhhhh, I see you know the forum well. :ROFLMAO: My "MIC" has never been off. Took delivery Mar 23. Just reaching 9,000 miles. Always hand washed with Meguiars Gold Class car wash. I do live in PA. Hot and cold cycles.

I've been watching posts about this whole issue and from what I've seen this issue is less in the warmer climates. Now I still see perfect ones "up north" but it is few and far between. I also believe that some owners have never even looked. You can't stand 10 feet away and see them. Get up close and run your finger down them and you can feel the crack. ( Yes, I'm going to leave that stand). I'm not sure if the temp swings along with the outer layer not being thick enough. Maybe the ones that do not crack are thicker. I have no clue but after Ford sent their "experts" to bail out Webesto I thought it would be fixed. Well, it got better but faaaaar from FIXED.

And by the way the F%$K does Webesto win some freaking award for making the damn thing!!! Half of the damn things are junk. 🤬

I was military for a long time. We used to say "so to speak" instead of "Phrasing", but it's the same thing. Gotta be careful what you say around the childish people (me included).

As far as cracking or honeycombing, I've got a Dirt Mountain '21 and haven't noticed anything. I live in one of those northern-ish states, but my Bronco is garage kept and I've actually been driving less with all the WFH stuff. Maybe the Dirt Mountain tops are thicker or maybe I've just been lucky.
