New ADV hood installed.

My daughter put on the ford performance hood sticker tonight. Yes it for a stock hood but it wrapped over right on the style line so we went for it.

Wonder what happens at high speeds on freeway from an aerodynamic standpoint.

i took it up to 85 mph. No shaking or vibration. the engine compartment isn’t sealed so its not going create pressure.

Looks great. Where did you get the hood painted?

Done locally. Could have been done better in the finishing area. i had to cut it down quite a bit before we ceramic coated it.

Yeah. ADV and AFC are essentially the same company. Not sure why but some people refer to them differently. I know because I liked their hoods and was going to buy one along with their hard top. After the hard top fiasco I couldn’t support them and get their hood. Cervini makes a similar one but the hood scoop sticks up higher and I think it’s too high.

im not an follower of the top issue. I just wanted the hood and fenders down the road. Now I now I’m thinking of cutting ties after spending the afternoon read about the hard top. Now I know why people are pissed. Sorry some of us didn’t even know about it.

I have had this hood for quite a while. It works well and there are no issues with it. I have had it up to speeds and off-road. No problems. No water is blowing in ect ect ect. I received this hood when I was putting my Bronco together as well as the fender flares. ADV was not even thinking about a Hardtop then. All of my pieces are top-notch and are holding up well.

yeah.. i feel the same way. I bought their fenders & hood back in '22. They were great to deal with and my body shop thought the stuff was higher quality than other stuff they have seen. I had a top on order and dodged the bullet getting out and refunded when they were still doing that. My only concern is how to get a replacement fender if I ever damaged one.. Clearly they are still online and doing business..
