Need your help…

Having 35’s installed tomorrow and need to know how much I need to trim off the tailgate bumpers (spare tire bumpers)? Going from stock OBX 18’s to Wildtrack oem takeoffs w/315/70R17s…

Probably overthinking this, but will have Bronco loaded with stock wheels so spare has to go on at tire shop, don’t want an “indented” tailgate due to wider spare being mounted and mashing bumpers into sheet metal…

Anyone share how much you shaved your spare tire bump stops to accommodate 315/70R 17’s….

I'd try one before cutting. I'm sure depends on exact tire and pressure.

Not sure about trimming, others just swapped on the sasquatch bumpers.
Apparently very simple and cheap.

Completely different scenario, but mine didn't need any tweaking when I went from base Base (30") to a 35 x 11.5 on a +35 wheel.

Any search results? I know it's been discussed.

Thanks HD I did do several searches, and didn’t come up with anything, not using right key words I guess. Did end up ordering correct bump stops through Ruxer
