I paid for the navigation for 1 yr after the 90 day free period. It works but I cannot get the voice to work for the driving instructions. I went to nav settings and clicked on voice and then tried voice and tones and still it is silent. I have my radio volume at medium level so I cannot figure out why the voice directions is silent when I have them turned on. Any ideas or something I am doing wrong. Thanks

You likely need to adjust the volume (using the volume control for the stereo) when the Nav unit is speaking.

Put in a destination, and adjust the volume once you tell it to start would be my best suggestion.

Yeah the volume for the nav is different than the regular volume. There may be a way to adjust it through a setting, but the easiest is to change the volume knob while the nav is talking.

Also, maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but the nav only comes out of the left front speakers. So make sure those are working (And you don't have balance or fade screwed up)

When you are navigating, and you hear the music stop, that's when you turn up the volume knob!
