Nice truck! Where do they assemble the right hand drive Ranger?
Thanks! Designed and tested in Australia and assembled in Thailand.

What’s this button? And there arrows to expand the CarPlay how darn big does it go 😳

So that button automatically turns on the front camera and the off-road status monitoring and selectable features on the big screen. Saves from having to cycle through a bunch of other screens to get there.

That's a fine machine. Funny how Wildtrak Rangers get orange stitching. I wonder how well that steering wheel would fit a Bronco? 🤔

Since my Bronco has been mothballed for the duration of my current assignment, I felt the need to pick up a (somewhat) temporary substitute. It took a while but finally landed on a ‘23 Ranger WildTrak (couldn’t justify the Ranger Raptor, although I REALLY wanted one… but if you think US dealer markups our out of control, these folks apparently went to the same school!)

Picked up the WildTrak yesterday and early indications are that it will do great on and off road. It’s no Bronco by any means but should do what I want out here.

Since they share platforms to an extent, I’m hopeful that some of the new interior features and tech will indeed transfer over to the Bronco when they do some refresh. Most will be happy to hear that you can turn off the double honk in the vehicle settings! Will provide more updates over time but in the meantime will continue to miss my Badlands!!

Thanks! The stitching is more of a tan than the orange like what’s in a Badlands Bronco. Not a bad touch with the black interior and the aluminum (pronounced ah-loo- min-ee-um here) metallic paint. Steering wheel feels just like the Bronco.

Not as long as you might think. Biggest adjustment is looking the right direction for oncoming traffic before pulling out or crossing the street. I’ve been doing this so long it’s a pretty easy switch when I travel.

Nice!! Over here they have one called the Everest which is most comparable to the explorer but is on the ranger frame. Sort of combines the explorer and the Bronco. There were a lot of angry folks though when the new generation was introduced because folks were REALLY hoping the Bronco would be imported here.

Don't dig the flick type gear selector but the parking brake button location is comparatively genius

Huge center screen and lack of a redundant analog speedo, starting to make me jelly
Parking brake is same as the Maverick.

Good call on not selling. Wife and I moved overseas early 2019 for what was supposed to be 3, possibly 4 year assignment. Sold our house and our cars - Tundra, X5, JK. We were back a year and a half later due to CV-19.

We sold the house, Tacoma, and Jeep (although I wanted to ship it… it just got to be too much of a hassle.) The Bronco was too much of a unicorn and we went through a lot to get it so we chose to store it. Will be there when we come in on R&Rs as well as end of assignment.

Now if I can only figure out how to get the Ranger back into the States!

Yah I know the Everest. They're awesome! Wish they were available here. Wish they came in Raptor version Also that'd be awesome.
