I’m guessing looks only… and they do add an interesting look!

It would also reduce the weight in the front, thereby moving the CG back 3.5 angstroms which will greatly improve handling.

I concur, however, I think your angstrom calculations may be slightly skewed.

I feel like they look strange being so angular. Glad you like them.

I'll never understand why Ford didn't make the end caps fit up under the end of the bumper instead of over the top. Would have looked much better when the caps are off.
