If we opt for the Modular Hardtop (painted shadow black) on a badlands, does that impact or change the grill color?

My current understanding is that the badlands grill is similar to the carbonized gray. If we choose to step up to the “modular Hardtop painted shadow black” does that also mean that the grill turns black?

is the badlands grill actually gray or is it black and I’m Seeing things?

Just for the record:
- the MIC gray top is not acceptable IMPO.
- I’m hungry for real info, my guess is that the B&P will not be as detailed as we expect. I’d wager there will be many unanswered questions. Either way I’m still stoked.

Cheers!

I guess we will find out the answer when B&P drops. No way anyone here can know anything about options or if "A" is available with "B" etc... Unless someone from Ford is in here spying and wants to leak some info (would be greatly appreciated).

I wouldn't take anything seen at this point as being finalized, as many of the testers show parts cobbled together from different models. That won't be the case when real production models show up.

Black painted grille and mirrors per Ford, hope it changes because I like the carbonized grey grille on the BL.

Omg.....It says it right eff’n there. I’ve gone blind. Thanks man. I guess I’ll have to trade grills with somebody or buy a gray one if Ford offers them.

Getting rid of the MIC gray top takes priority over the grill. I can change out the grill later.

Just gonna say, like anything else on a vehicle, it can be painted after you buy it. Or wrap it. Id just bring it down to your local paint shop and have em toss whatever color you want on it. I'm planning on having a few things painted like the BRONCO lettering on the grille to the body color, possibly my SAS fenders, and maybe even bumpers. A grille paint job may cost you a couple hundred bucks. Just my $.02.

The painted HT will be the only reason I opt from the BD to the BL.
I hate the grey top also..
