Mirror for rear facing car seat

Hi! I installed my son’s rear facing car seat today and set up the mirror on the headrest but the angle is not right and I’m unable to get him in view through the bronco’s rear view mirror. I know I’m not the only one with a rear facing car seat so would love to hear your advice if you have a mirror or another solution to view your child from the drivers seat. Thank you!!

When I had a rear facing car seat I just used a folded washcloth as a shim on the top to angle it down.
