I mostly wanted to get rid of the giant suitcase in the rear and be able to hear the motor a bit.
I can’t comment to the power gained as I installed an Intake/Tune/Exhaust over the course of three days. With all three it does feel much quicker than it did the few days I had it stock.
Sound is nice(for a 4cyl). No noticeable drone on the highway and I can still hear the turbo/bov noises from the intake when getting on it. The auto rev matching can actually be heard when down shifting which is nice, and being a manual the sound keeps me from having to look down at the tach so often.
Quality is nice. It’s not 2dr/4dr specific so you have to cut one of the pipes to make it fit a 2dr(10 seconds with a band/chop saw).
I will try and get some sound clips over the next few days, but overall I’m happy with it

Which cold air intake did you install? Also, do you mind uploading a sound clip from inside the cabin? Just wondering what it would sound like since all the youtube videos seem to be from the outside

I’ll try and get someone to ride with me and video the sound in cab.

Thanks! When you were considering intakes, did pairing one company’s intake with another’s exhaust a big decision? Or, did you just go for whatever you like best for each (intake and exhaust), individually?

I’m new to this, so I just don’t want to have buyers remorse when I get around to mine 😂

For the Intake I wanted one that also replaced the turbo inlet pipe. I considered K&N but didn’t like the vacuum T that they used.

For the exhaust I listened to all the videos etc but my decision was based mostly off price/availability for what I wanted(high tuck no visible tips). There were little to no reviews on the MBRP but I’ve installed them on Jeeps in the past and was pleased with the results. Unfortunately no exhaust will make this motor sound the way I really want(need a V8 swap for that lol) but overall I’m pleased with the deeper tone this one produces.

Thanks for the response, it's really helpful!

Looks nice, price seems reasonable. Did you get the oiled one? They have 2 on the site

I prefer dry filters and just replacing them when needed.
