I can confirm that my dropped valve issue isn’t from messing with GOAT modes. My Bronco has not and will not be used off-road (with exception of the dirt road we live on).Over heated engine? Not what read. I have seen someone questioning the temperature gauge, and another concerned about coolant level. Neither had an alarm registered on the vehicle. Concerning the valve failure in the 2.7 I am wondering if this is a self inflicted issue. What I mean by this is the F 150 4x4 have not experienced this issue. The difference is the Bronco has GOAT modes. I am wondering if these owners are dropping the vehicle into a mode and automatically assume nothing else needs to be done. As an example ,drop GOAT for sand but fail to deflate tire pressures. Want to destroy a vehicle quick, run it in severe sand without pressuring down the tires to 15-20 lbs. I have no factual proof of this but it makes me wonder.
they all have problems ..Toyota is no exception as with this engine crack recallHere in B6G we already have several reports - (examples below)
-- After only 1 or 2-months on road -
What Percentage (%) of MY21 Broncos are having Major Mechanical Failures ?
Rough Estimates - (corrections welcome)
-- about 10 reports so far here in B6G ??
-- less than 1000 B6G members have received their Builds ??
-- maybe half of B6G members report their problems here ??
These Rough Estimates imply Major Mechanical Failures are more than 2% ??
-- This would be completely unacceptable to most buyers -
-- Hey Ford . . Reliability First . . then bells & whistles . .
More Questions -
A) After only 1 or 2-months ? . . . How bad will it be after 1-Year ??
B) Endless Production Delays at MAP ? - Is this another reason ?? - Major Mechanical failures being addressed ??
C) Will MY22 be any better ??
Examples -
-- Engine Seized - July 26 - @mmcq -
-- Engine Seized - Sept 11 - @Broncoshrimp -
-- Drivetrain Failure - July 27 - @Rcarpen22 -
-- Broken Axle - July 21 - @Homebowlking -
Others -
-- Engine Overheated - August 15 - @Kamseyk -
More Examples Welcome - these are the ones I remember -
Or a year of productionI'd say we need to give it 6 months to have this kind of conversation.
Thank you for applying logic. Being a rookie how does tire pressure impact a valve? Where can one get educated in the 4 wheeling areas like sand etc? Do you get this valuable info by networking alone?Over heated engine? Not what read. I have seen someone questioning the temperature gauge, and another concerned about coolant level. I would never expect a Toyota to be as comfortable, have as much new technology, or look as good as a Ford. So there you have it.I would never expect Ford to be as reliable as a Toyota.
