Thanks - it runs well, only big issue we did blow out the original 5 speed and had to find a rebuild. Other than that, mostly just tweaks here and there to just keep making it a bit better. The 4LO clunk hasn't kept us from running around in it so far, just something we think probably shouldn't be there - like the high pitched whine from the tranny before 5th gear eventually exploded.
That TTB has an extra joint in the front axle...maybe that?

Well just to update my op while it was in for it's first oil change I had them take a look to see if they could figure it out and they did. It ended up being a torn cv boot that I could never see and took me a while to find when I got it home. They don't replace boots they replace the entire shaft I was also told that whoever put the lift in tore it ( me ) and it would not be covered under warranty so there's my next project. They also found a problem with the voltage indicator light that was on I thought I caused it with some forscan changes ended up being a bad fuse box module that the have a tsb on which they have to order.

I had something similar - the boot was $90, the entire shaft was $140

I never could find a generic boot that would fit — I have a half shaft that I could fix up if I could find one
