Leather Seats With Cloth?

MY22 OBX with Roast Leather interior. Noticed today that on only the passenger seat, there is a black cloth panel sewn in. The drivers seat is vinyl on the sides.

Is this normal? Trying to think of a reason other than cost cutting to do this, but why make it inconsistent between the two front seats?

I have it on driver and passenger side.

Completely normal. You get the same thing on all Ford and Lincoln vehicles with leather.

It's that leather trimed, vinyl and cloth seat, complete fail in my opinion... FORD, either do a real leather seat or don't, this is embarrassingly bad.
