You don't need to upgrade anything. Just add skid plates and you will be good to do whatever you want. I have none of the upgraded skids on my wildtrak and have had no issues off roading or rock crawling. Just be smart about it or get skids!
I have rock crawled my stock wildtrak and no issues. It has front and rear lockers. Why wouldn't we rock crawl it? No need for the lift, but to each their own. :)

I think the goodyear is a great tire. Weighs considerably less than the K02. I have never had a bad experience off road or on road with my goodyears. I also have 19000 miles and barely any wear. I feel like I will get 50000 miles out of these tires. Nothing wrong with K02 as it is a great tire...

I doubt anyone drove it. Ford does do random testing of vehicles as well as moves them from lot to lot, if it is waiting for additional parts.
