Hey Everyone,
Unfortunately, I have a leak and not sure what it is 🤦‍♂️. Thinking either trans, steering fluid, or the main one which I believe it to be is the cv leaking. Just bought the 74 weld steering so that’ll be fine. Realized some of it yesterday and today saw way more leaking. Still drivable and crazy sounds. Getting checked out Monday and ordering whatever it is replacements for it. Thinking Dana shafts or rcv shafts, if this is the issue. It’s the driver side leaking to. Would like ppls suggestions or thoughts on what it could be. Thanks 🙏

Looks like cv shaft grease to me.
Agree, highly likely. See how it looks like the grease is being flung around by rotating shaft? I would do a very close inspection of the rubber boot on that side and I bet you find a split somewhere.

Definitely in the area a CV boot will throw grease if it has a hole. A little grease will make a lot of mess.. that’s not much grease IMO and you’ve got a while before it’s dry. I chased a pin hole for a month or so then finally just replaced the axle. Once I had it off and all apart I cleaned it up and used some gear-aid Aquaseal FD and sealed the boot and shot full of grease.. now I have a spare driver’s side axle
