Was considering 285/75/17 which seems to equate 34" diameter. Not sure if those would work so now leaning to 285/70/17 which is about 33" diameter.
And any opinions on brand. Not going off road, so this is appearance only. And best all terrains for cold (Canadian winter)?

I run BFG Trail Terrain T/A tires 285/70/17. Fills out the wheel wells nicely for a 2-dr.

I went with 285/70/17 on my stock BD with no problems but have since installed Bilstein 5100 set for about 1.5" of lift. I have K02's and like them a lot, not a lot of road noise.

I think the big difference is you’ll find P rated options at 285/70 which will retain more of that factory ride. 285/75 will mostly come in LT ratings which are fine too but worth considering if you’re not used to it.

Really happy with the 34” Toyo Open Country AT3s I got in April, and they’re lighter than K02s. What do you mean by no modification? I think people are forgetting that you have to remove the crash bars in the font, which is super easy (two bolts per bar).

Also worth considering gearing. If you have no rear locker then you have the 3.73 which is more highway oriented. If you have the rear locker it is 4.46, so more low end torque.

Point is, given what I've felt with my 34" Toyos (less torque) I wouldn't recommend much larger on the 3.73 gearing. I'm sure many have gone to 35s with the same, but just my two ¢.

Meaning without removing crash bars or installing lifts

Without any modifications you’re probably limited to 33” or maybe 33.5”, but I wouldn’t hesitate removing crash bars. I think Sasquatch has them removed from factory?

Correct.
285/75-17 (33.8") works with crash bars installed.
May vary by wheel selection, but all the factory ones should be fine.

I run 35 x 11.5 - 17 (34.4") . I removed the crash bars.
No rub in normal street driving, very light offroad.
Wish I had a some lift, just for better visual perspective.

Methods +35mm offset.
