I just purchased the Trail Seven Kicker Key harness and amp and I plan on installing this weekend. Over 3yrs ago, I upgraded my dash speakers and rear pods with Infinity Reference 4 inchers in both BUT I recall using a pair of PAC bass blockers on the in-dash speakers. Here are my questions:

1. Do I need to set the fader to just the front speakers when running the DSP programming or put it @ “Center” (I’ve heard conflicting reports)
2. Should I remove the bass blockers from the front speakers?
3. I have the required hardware connection to do 4scan - Is there any reprogramming I should do that actually works to “unlock” rear sound? If so, Assuming that get’s done before programming the DSP?
4. Drivers headrest is best place for the mic during programming or is there another hack?

I got rid of my base blockers. Speakers were too bright for my liking. Haven’t had any problems. I went with 6”pods in the rear and used forscan to change the setting from tweeter to speaker. Yes head rest is the best location. Also set the factory head unit amp to “0”, flat before running the DPS.

Did you put the fader to front speakers only or leave in center when running pink noise?
