I have installed a Kicker Hideaway in my 21 Bronco. I have it wired to the speakers in the kick panels so i have full signal going to the sub. I have it set to "DC" for the auto turn-on. Everything that i have read says that it should turn off when it does not receive any signal, But the blue light stays on 24/7. My concern is if i forget to turn it off and it ends up draining my battery. Does anyone know how to solve this? I see many people on the forum have istalled a hideaway so i am hoping for a little help. I have searched and have not seen anything about having to turn it on/off everytime I get in. The blue wire wire that it comes with is not connected to anything. I remember reading somewhere that if your on "DC" that it is not necessary but that could of been incorrect.

Any help will be appreciated!

Usually a blue wire in car audio is a trigger wire, meaning that its used to turn stuff on or off. Run that blue wire to a fused block that turns on with ACC.

Curious if you found an answer to this question. The blue light stays on indefinitely for me as well.

Any thoughts on best place to ground the Kicker? Having a hard time finding a good spot.
