Have a 2021 Badlands with black and gray beadlock wheels. Interior part of the black looks like it’s starting to fade. Any suggestions on care?

You need a stiff brush with good bristles and you give your wheels a thorough clean every time you wash your truck. A car wash or light swipe with a sponge will not clean the brake dust, dirt or road grime off. Put your elbows into it...

Clean them as you would the paint on your car. Polish and do paint correction in the same manner and then either ceramic coat or wax several times followed by a solid Si02 coating like Wolfgang. Think of it this way- your rims are clear coated, would you scrub your vehicles paint with a scrub brush? Hell no...

When I get brake dust on my rims a light finger's touch will completely clean it off. If you have to scrub, you have no protective coating. I couldn't imagine scrubbing clear coat with a stiff bristle brush....

Hey FE,
I didn't say scrub with a stiff bristle brush, I said use a stiff brush with good bristles. So, the brush is stiff, it does not flex, and good bristles means one that are soft and long lasting. You definitely do not want to scratch your clear coat.

Would you use that same brush on your paint?

I usually don't share what I use on my -

Ohhh, paint!

I personally use horse hair brushes on my rig, once I've gone through the local tunnel with my car wash pass to get most the mud off. 😁

Most definitely not, I use the two bucket approach to my paint and only use appropriate sponges. Having the same wheels as the OP and that I use for the winter months, the brush bristles allow you to get in and around the wheel nuts, and on the inside/outside lips of the beadlock rings. Works really well, and does not scratch the clearcoat or the paint underneath.

I wash my rims with a separate set of microfiber mitts. They come out perfect every time. No bristles for my clear coast finishes...

I think I cheated. I got a full PPF wrap the week I got it, the super space age self healing crap. 😆
I should get ready to bite that bullet again in the next few years, once it starts to peel.
It's been on there for a while with a lot of abuse...

I wash the car and wheels separately. I just use a cheap ceramic to clean the wheels when I do. then subsequently grime is easier to remove
