K&N Intake installed on 2022 Braptor

So, I ordered a K&N Intake from @LethalPerformance and just wanted to clarify that it fits 2022s with zero issues. I wanted to clarify that because K&N says it's 23 and up (or did).

Yes, the claimed performance may or may not be there. I purely did it for the sound, and it has been delivered. Not only does it have a nice growl to it, but I can hear the party whistles spool, which was a nice surprise. Overall quality is good. They could work on their directions a little better, but if you have spatial/mechanical abilities, you'll be good to go.

I will say K&N could've used a sander to smooth the cut on the edge of the air box; it looks like they cut it with a sawzall.

May 3D print a drain flapper like the one on the factory box.

I haven't taken a good look at how the factory intake is plumbed. Any disadvantage to this versus stock in terms of risk of water coming in?

I don’t see a concern for water egress over stock. I live in the Pacific Northwest so I’ll check it the next atmospheric river that comes through here. But the flapper on the stock box looks like it would work good if you were fording a river, hit a deep pocket and dipped your hood near that intake line and water coming in could quickly dump out.
