Delivered one week after built?

Maybe not even that. The build “week” is 6/14, so possible it’s not even being built until 6/20? So possibly 1-day delivery? Perhaps Amazon has been subcontracted for delivery and will be using their new fleet of delivery drones. I sure hope Amazon is delivering for Webasto as well.

Very nice if this turns out to be true, but if I had a nickel for every time my dealership told me something that turned out to be false, I’d be able to quit my job, canx my reservation and just scower dealerships for unclaimed Broncos and pay the considerable additional dealer markup to get it sooner. Let’s hope.

Wow, thats insane. I ordered 7/16 4d WildTrak Antimatter Blue and still no freaking build date. Good for you, but damn I feel mislead by the Ford ordering process. FML

No you didn't. You reserved on 7/16. You ordered sometime after 1/19/21.

So Ford is still working the first day reservations from what it seems like. I reserved mine on the 20th so I most likely won’t get a build date or vin until December.

Thats right, reservation date 7/16 & order date of 1/22/21. I’ve read about the delays on certain builds and items. So how is it someone ordered on 3/4 and is already getting a build date? Maybe I miss understand, that person may of had a early res date and just ordered it on 3/4 before the cut off date.

I believe you misunderstand

Order date (as long as it's before 3/19) does not factor into scheduling AT ALL. It's your reservation date (and a myriad of other factors such as dealer allocation and parts availability and priority codes and Yada Yada Yada) that matters

Day 1 reservation about 2 hours after launch. OBX, MIC, 2.7, SASQ, LUX. I haven't heard a damn thing from Ford yet. Starting to get worried

Over 50,000 first day reservations, ya its going to be a long while. Good thing for you timestamp means absolutely nothing except at your dealer, and then its at the bottom of the priority list of scheduling. The fixation with timestamp on this forum is ridiculous.

My comment was more based on the very recent statement that commodity-wise, Wildtraks share almost all the same things as a First Edition, especially things that are short and troublesome. However, First Editions have been guaranteed for 2021. So those commodities, logically, when given a choice between WildTrack and First Edition, the smartest move it to go to the FE. And being that delivery dates are going to be 6-8 weeks after build, this week's scheduled VINs are likely going to be bringing us closer to the end of the year.

Glad to be of assistance. But I think I'll stick around and watch the meltdowns of entitled FE buyers, it's great entertainment.
