So, just found this leak on my ‘21 SAS OB (74k mi) when changing my oil. Now that I’ve read through this thread, I just have a couple of questions. 1) Has anyone changed this seal themselves? 2) Can this get fixed by the dealer for free, if I’m out of warranty and there’s a TSB?

Those are all good questions and things I will definitely look into tomorrow morning. From what I gather online, old vehicles had access to the heater core under the hood. Nowadays it’s behind the dash and a pain in the ass to get too.

*Update* dealer said they pressurized the system both hot & cold and found nothing. Can’t find anything wrong with the heater core or any coolant leak. Can’t even replicate the smell from the vents. Not sure where to go from here. Sunday driving on freeway with max a/c on and start seeing...

I hear ya. We usually go through brakes pretty quick. Being a daily driver and a lot of city driving I would’ve expected them to wear somewhat quickly.

That would be crazy to have electric sensors to tell you to change your brakes. Wouldn’t hate it though 😂 I’m getting new tires put on tomorrow and will check out how much pad is left at that point.

Thanks for all the responses. Looks like the major issues are weak sidewall and sharp rock damage possible in the tread. To each their own but I think I’ll stick with the Goodyears for now. Just can’t justify the extra money for another brand for what I’m using it for. ✌🏽
